TOPIC: RAISED FOR A PURPOSE
THEME SCRIPTURE: "But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee." (Acts 26:16, KJV)
PREPARATORY QUESTION
What would change in your Christian witness if God comes through for you in your lowest moment?
Paul told King Agrippa how he met Christ. He was on the road to Damascus, arresting believers. A light threw him to the ground. He was blind, afraid, and guilty.
Jesus began with a command: "Rise." He did not list Paul's sins. He did not wait for an apology. He lifted Paul first and gave him work second.
The order matters. Mercy came before mission. Paul did not earn the commission. Christ gave it.
Jesus also stated the purpose. The meeting was not only for Paul's comfort. Paul would be a minister, which means a servant. He would also be a witness, which means someone who reports what he has seen.
The witness has two parts. He speaks of what he has already seen. He also speaks of what Christ will still show him. Paul did not need full knowledge. He needed to be honest about what he knew and willing to learn more.
Many of us wait to feel qualified. Paul was not qualified by any human measure. His only credential was that Christ had appeared to him.
Key Takeaway
Christ restores before He sends. Your testimony is what you have actually seen Him do, and that is enough to begin.
Precious one, failure does not cancel a calling. Your past may be the reason your witness is believable. Serve humbly, speak plainly, and stay teachable.
Remain blessed.

PRAYER
Father, You lifted me when I could not stand. Give me a humble heart to serve. Give me honest words to tell what You have done. Keep me open to what You will show me next. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.
